In October of 2007
a huge wildfire now infamously known as the Slide Fire in the San Bernardino
Mountains of California destroyed Rennie's mountain home.
Rennie, Doug, Keith (Rennie's
Dad) and all the dogs managed to just barely escape the all-consuming blaze.
Just barely able to get out with the clothes on their back , the two vehicles
and all the dogs the emergency evacution did not provide any opportunity
to salvage any personal items!
All are doing well and
the dogs continue to thrive and the cycle of life will carry on!
